The Triund trek is a beginner-friendly, moderately graded trek. It's a 9 km trail from Mcleodganj with a gradual ascent of about 1,000 metres, taking 3-4 hours. No prior trekking experience is required, but reasonable fitness helps.
It's a 2-day, 1-night trek. Day 1 covers Mcleodganj to Triund Camp (9 km), and Day 2 returns via Lehta and Bhagsu waterfall (approx. 7 km descent).
Triund sits at approximately 2,875 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range, Kangra Valley, and the Shivalik hills.
The package includes vegetarian breakfast, dinner and evening snacks, high-quality tents, sleeping bags and mattresses, walking sticks and ponchos, and a professional instructor plus experienced mountain guide.

The trek is best done between March and June, and September to November, when the weather is clear and trails are dry. Monsoon months (July-August) and heavy winter snow can make the trek more challenging.
